Summaries of fields from all power lines

graph comparing typical magnetic fields

This graph compares the typical magnetic field for overhead power lines of different voltages.  Typical fields are less than maximum fields because the current carried by a line is usually less than the maximum, and the clearance of the line above ground is usually more than the minimum.  Select whichever comparison you want to see from the following:

typical magnetic fields          |   typical electric fields

maximum magnetic fields   |   maximum electric fields
